    Urban Plates has a nice offering of freshly made offerings like sandwiches, salads, soups and then some! We got a few dishes for a quick small lunch and were all pleasantly surprised with the wonderful tastes that were brought out to our table. Everyone was friendly and helpful with our questions. The servers were also very helpful and speedy with their service too. Our experience was very positive and the restaurant and the restroom were nice and clean! Will have to stop in again when we're in the area again. We'd definitely recommend a visit to anyone wondering whether to stop in.

    Urban Plates offers delicious, healthy, and quick meals. I ordered the Mahi Mahi Niçoise Salad but substituted the mahi mahi with salmon. It was incredibly fresh, delicious, and filling. We visited around 1 PM on a Sunday, and it was quite busy.

    I can't believe I've never reviewed Urban Plates in Pleasant Hill. I usually order the salmon caesar salad or the beet salad and add salmon for more protein. It is best to eat the food at the restaurant. During the lockdown, we would order DoorDash and the proteins would dry out from being overcooked while sitting in the boxes before arriving at our dinner tables. I have ordered the beet and avocado bowl a few times, and I realize that I just really love the salmon here, and I feel like I would miss out on eating healthily and happily. Sometimes, when I feel that I can finish my food, I will order a slice of hummingbird cake. Urban Plates knows how to make it like no one else! Treat yourself to some of their hummingbird cake and you will not be disappointed.
